[insert term of acknowledgement here] GUY FAWKES DAY PEOPLE! I can't rightly say "happy", as I still have enough vague shreds of clan loyalty left to side with the Protestants. Yet, I can't rightly say "sad", as I still have enough cynicism and fondness for V for Vendetta to make that connection.

So. Whatever your personal beliefs on the subject, hooray for knowing it exists.
For those of you who have no clue what I'm talking about, Guy Fawkes Day is November 5th ("Remember remember the fifth of november, the gunpowder treason and plot. I'M A SENIOR! and the best part? I just got all my college applications out. SO. While that's not a promise I'll ever get any artwork done, I might be putting a few more things up. You know. Cause I almost literally have nothing to do with my life for the next few months. I'm applying early decision to Macalester College, and I should know about that by the end of December. So. YEAH.

Why yes. It IS brilliant. I've been spending most of my time reading my APES (AP environmental science) textbook and watching Star Trek and Firefly. Also, I'm teaching myself Polish. And by that, I really mean I'm learning how to drunkenly curse the hell out of you in Polish. Oh, and there's that small (note: sarcasm) matter of convincing my high school to put a rooftop garden on the roof before I leave.

In all seriousness, I love doing that. I hesitate to call it a "project"... I'll call it "independent research" instead. Theoretically, now would be the best time for the administration to consider and rooftop garden, as they've just also put aside budget money for turbines and solar panels... Yeah. I'll be letting you know how that goes.

Other than that... eh. Not much going on. The usual romance issues. Nothing too interesting.
